Two of the Caribbean Palm Village Resort key staff members celebrated their anniversaries this week. General Manager Astrid Muller and Treasurer of the Board Randy Croes hosted a special luncheon party in their honor at Scabeche restaurant.
Meredith has been working at the resort for five years in her position as Assistant Financial Controller. She came to the resort from a reputed accounting firm where she worked for 11 years, before making the decision to switch to hospitality. The married mother of two reports a great sense of accomplishment, juggling her career and her personal life, and plans to continue doing just that in the next years.
Franklin, a married father of two, is a member of the maintenance department, and has been in resort maintenance since the Sheraton days. He came to the Caribbean Palm Village Resort from that same hotel, which underwent several name changes. Having enjoyed baseball all his life, he is proud to say that his son, Randolph, age 23, is a baseball player for the Washington National and Franklin likes to wear the red cap with the W, to work every day.
