Diana & Jim said “I Do,†at an intimate sunset wedding at the Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa, officiated by the reverend of the Protestant church. The simple but beautiful ceremony was attended by just two wedding guests, Gary & Patricia Jutz. Gary who is the General Manager of the Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa has worked with Jim in Nashville in the 80s. In fact, Jim recommended Aruba as a perfect vacation spot, a recommendation the Jutz’ pursued, which resulted in their first holiday on the island at the Divi Divi Beach Resort.
Jim Harvey, a hospitality sales’ executive met his beautiful bride, Diana, a meeting and event planner as he was entertaining industry professionals at his hotel in Dallas, Texas in July of 2006. “The second I touched her hand, I knew,†says Jim, “I would want to spend the rest of my life with this woman.†The couple got engaged in Washington, in April of this year, following a black tie affair, and then Jim suggested “Aruba, let’s get married in Aruba.â€
The new Mr & Mrs Harvey will be living in Alexandria, Virginia, where they will be buying a home, meanwhile banters Diana, “We’ll be having sleepovers.â€
