The first group arrived here from Manchester on Friday night. Unfortunately all flights from the UK were suspended on Saturday, due to that famous Icelandic volcano eruption, causing the delay of the second group. Nevertheless, those who made it to paradise enjoyed the hospitality of Mulligan’s Golf Café Bar & Restaurant for dinner hosted by Lisa Nieuwmeyer Divi and Tamarijn Reservations Manager and Marin Bijl, General Manager.
The chef presented light and delicious menu choices from Beef Carpaccio with Mesclun Salad to Caesar Salad, followed by fresh Mahi Mahi with stir-fried vegetables or Grilled Tenderloin with Peppercorn Sauce, and a combination of sweets for dessert, chased by the appropriate wines. While on the island the dignitaries will experience all that it has to offer, then go back to the UK to sell and promote the island enthusiastically, having experienced it all first hand.
