The O’Sullivans raise funds for the Clown Doctors Aruba

While on vacation in Aruba at Divi Resorts with 168 group members the visitors found it in their hearts to collect funds for a local charity. They picked the Clown Doctors and delivered $1,500 to foundation president Peter Balliere during a festive Christmas dinner around the pool at the Mega Divi Resort

“We are the Clown Doctors of Aruba,” says Balliere, “some pediatricians call us `colleagues who cure children without medication’. We are very proud of this, because we wish nothing more than to live in a world with no sick kids. We believe that by creating a fantasy world, through smiles, laughs or a joke, we can put the real world on hold for a while at a time when fear and pain are present. This way we speed up the healing process.”

Clown Doctors Aruba is an organization dedicated to visiting ailing children in the hospital, keeping the elderly, living in government institutions, company, and helping teach mentally and physically challenged kids.
