Survival was this year’s theme for the 6th Annual Girls Night Out as it has been an interesting year and many in the community felt the impact of global economic downturn, which required navigating the business landscape with creativity and foresight.
True to the theme, all Salamander Holdings staffers wore little white nurse-caps, prepared to assist their guests with more chilled champagne or another delicious canapé, catered by Flavors.
All shoppers were awarded a Survival Kit upon departure, designed to aid life’s smallest emergencies including a nail file, a band aid, needle and thread!
With the help of its loyal patrons T.H. Palm& Company was once more able to make a difference in the community with its Tikkun Olam, repair of the world initiative.
A number of local not-for-profit organizations received help this year among them Fundacion pa Hende Muhe Den Dificultad, Imeldahof Children’s Home, Koningin Wilhelmina Fonds, Edmund E. Harms Foundation, Telefon Pa Hubentud, and Centro Kibrahacha.
As T.H. Palm & Company enters its third year with Tikkun Olam, it wished to thank all shoppers for their generous participation in the cycle of giving.
Recently, just in time for the company’s 15th anniversary, its flagship store for The Coconut Trading Co. brand opened at the Palm Beach Village Mall. The Coconut Trading Co. now enjoys two locations one at the Marriott Ocean Club and one at the heart of Palm Beach with abundant parking in the back of the store, open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. With the opening of its flagship store, the company expanded its Tikkun Olam program, joining hands with Fundashon Pa Nos Comunidad. Each time you shop at The Coconut Trading Co. at the Marriott Ocean Club or at the Village Mall, a percentage of the purchase will be donated to Fundashon Pa Nos Comunidad.
