In August, Rosa Maduro was nominated by Food & Beverage Director Rachel Noordermeer as Associate of the Month for her exceptional people skills used in relation to her colleagues and when dealing with restaurant guests.
Rosa, said Rachel, is a fair and firm leader, and one of the backbones of the Food & Beverage department at the resort.
That Associate of the Month title earned Rosa a nomination for the Associate of the Year award and after short deliberations the executive committee named her Associate of the Year, based on excellent feed-back received from all those who come in contact with the tireless, super-dedicated, focused and gracious Rosa Maduro.
The award was presented to Rosa by interim director of Human Resources Glenn Farro and Rachel Noordermeer, in the presence of resort executive Bob Curtis, Bruce Cavan and Oscar Borjas.
The party took place at a penthouse suite and was attended by all Radisson’s 12 finalists and nominees for the ultimate title. It was expertly catered by the culinary team.
