Palm Beach – This past week, the employees of the Radisson Aruba Resort, Casino & Spa scoured the terrain of the California Dunes for a Responsible Business Beach Cleanup, cleaning up trash and marine debris.
The cleanup was part of the 10th annual Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group Responsible Business Action Month. In 2003, The Rezidor Hotel Group launched the first Responsible Business Action Month to bring hotels in Europe, The Middle East and Africa together for the common good. Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group in the Americas and Asia Pacific, which owns multiple hotel brands including the Radisson, joined in, creating a truly global event each September.
Radisson’s beach cleaners came from all of the resort departments and they worked together to clean the dunes promoting a more beautiful Aruba for the benefit of all who live here and for the enjoyment of those who visit the island.
Photos show the employees in action, as well as the container’s worth of garbage bags that they effectively filled that day.
