Radisson hosts US press trip

US Press in Penthouse The Radisson Aruba Resort Spa & Casino is hosting a US press trip this weekend entertaining and informing a group of travel writers, authors and journalists who regularly contribute to a variety of publications such as Oprah magazine, People, Black Enterprise, Baltimore Sun, Organic Spa, Quest, Islands, Budget Travel as well as Brides, Essence and Cooking Light.

The weekend program for the dignitaries was put together by the resort’s Director of Marketing Maureen Morgenthien, and Gary Gerbino, Vice President Lou Hammond & Associates, Inc.

On the evening of their arrival the VIPs enjoyed a private dinner party at the ninth floor penthouse with a special menu designed by executive chef Matt Boland and his culinary team.

Guests were welcomed by Lily Polsbroek, Senior Sales Manager, Scott Derrickson, Director of Resort Operations and Bruce Cavan, Director of Larimar Spa.

They enjoyed cocktails at sunset overlooking fabulous Palm Beach followed by lovely alfresco dinner. On the menu, Chef’s Gravlax Salmon on a bed of organic field greens followed by Free Range Chicken stuffed with Spinach and Lobster accompanied by garden vegetables, and the Sunset Grille’s famed Caribbean Cannoli for dessert.
