General Manager Rob Smith talked to the forum about upcoming projects including an all-inclusive program and a just-conceived managerâ€™s cocktail party. Smith went on to describe the future restaurant renovations and the extensive purchasing plans while the Director of Human Resources Glenn Farro outlined the new employee hand book and the revised in-house training program.
The resortâ€™s rising guest satisfaction scores were interpreted by Narshall Gibbs who revealed that the Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa is indeed #1 property among the chainâ€™s managed hotels. As the great scores were celebrated, the new staff uniforms were introduced by members of the HR department in a live â€œYouâ€™ve Got Style,â€ fashion show, starring resort colleagues, on the runway.
The highlight of the assembly featured the Star Team announcements for September & October with Rugia Siliee as the winner for September and Marvinia Richardson for October both cited for extraordinary contributions to the resort. A short ceremony of appreciation lauded long-term careers of a great number of resort employees, awarded with certificates and commemorative plaques.
Best piece of news presented by General Manager Rob Smith was the increasing popularity of the resort among clients booking sunny vacations in the tropics this winter.
