Pierre Kock is the new F&B Director at LCBRC


lcbrc-management-team.JPGJoe Najjar, General Manager, La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club was proud to introduce Pierre Kock as the resort’s new Food & Beverage Director.

Kock comes to la Cabana from the Westin Aruba Resort having spent 10 years in its Food & Beverage department, where incidentally he met Najjar, when Najjar served as F&B Director for that property, a few years ago.

Kock reports he started at the Westin in the Beverage Departments and when he left was in charge of the resort’s restaurants in most service and food aspects.

An F&B veteran having started as a 14-year old at the Esso Club, in St Nicolas, as a pot washer while still going to school, Kock is a USA trained respiratory therapist by profession, but he returned to his first love, hospitality, when he came back to the island at the end of his studies. To keep in touch with medicine, he’s been the volunteer President of Aruba’s Search & Rescue Foundation for the past ten years where his training as a paramedic comes to good use.

“Pierre brings a wealth of experience to La Cabana,” states Najjar, “besides a solid F&B background,” he adds.

Kock explains he will be looking to revamp the restaurants, deliver higher quality and better value while improving all aspects of the operations.

As a father of two, a girl, 12, and a boy, 5, Kock also know all about kids and will make sure the resort is all set up to receive families on vacation.
