La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club associate-cafeteria, the Chit-Chat café, was decorated in the colors of the Aruban flag in honor of the 18th of March, and the food served that day was purely Aruban from fish soup and funchi to keri-keri over Creole rice with a side of beet & potato salad. And the talented musicians were all resort associates reveling extra special hidden talents.
General Manager Joe Najjar was even seen doing a formal Aruban waltz with one of the ladies in local costume, before settling down for lunch with the hard working and creative members of the social committee in charge of staff celebrations at the resort.
La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club hosts a special themed lunch every month which is much-anticipated and much enjoyed, by members of management and the associates. .
