Tessely Koolman of the department of Human Resources reports that what made Health Week so special was the fact that all tests were performed by resort employees, all qualified EMT, having earned their Emergency Medical Technician certifications via courses and trainings both in Aruba and overseas.
The testing was made available twice this week from 7am to 10am for the morning shirt and from 2pm to 4pm, for the afternoon shift. Additionally, on Wednesday, the resort invited the representative of the Witgele Kruis, White & Yellow Cross, for a lecture on Healthy Living.
The blood tests, reports Medical Coordinator Lindoro Abraham Vera were all within norm, as the resort focused this year on living a healthier life-style, and the results certainly reflect this trend.
