Joe and Jean Renew their Wedding Vows at Sunset

Joe & Jean Campisi renewed their wedding vows on October 13th, 2010 on the beach in front of the Dutch Village.

Next year, on March 19th, 2011, the love-birds will celebrate their 58th year anniversary together, having met and fallen helplessly in love when Joe was just 17 years old!!

They popular couple were surrounded by family members and friends as the local reverend conducted the emotional ceremony, not a dry eye in the house.

Joe & Jean Campisi have for the past quarter of the century brought the Red Devils to Aruba to the Dutch Village for week 41 and 42. The group is well known and loved at the resort and around town, with Joe serving as the motor behind all grand festivities, including holiday parties, lavish restaurant outings and nightly casino expeditions.

This time Joe had a renewal of vows in mind, as a surprise for his sweetheart. He lured her out to the beach under the pretense that Eleanor & Raymond would be renewing their vows, once baited, he switched, placing Jean, the queen of his heart at the action center.

He crossed himself cautiously before her turn to answer the big question, but she said “yes” anyway, then they sealed their promise of eternal love with an extended kiss.

Joe report that they have enjoyed their family and friends over the years and that they never fought over sex or money.

Joe was in the bar and restaurant business until he retired in 1998, and since then he confirms, they stayed busy, never getting on each other’s nerves, which is the secret to their success.
