Palm Beach — This past Wednesday, during the resort’s Managers’ Cocktail Party, General Manager Mark Lyttleton-Frances and his team presented six generous checks to local not-for-profit foundations in the presence of the resort’s social-conscious guests who helped raise the funds.
Glenn Farro, Director of Human Resources reports the recipients of donations were FAVI, an organization working on behalf of the visually impaired, Fundacion Hende Muher Den Dificultad, operating a local women’s shelter where victims of domestic abuse find refuge, mental, spiritual and financial support, Famia Planea, promoting access to birth control information and contraceptives, nurturing the sexual-health of our community, Imelda Hof, the children’s foster home in Noord, Casa Cuna, the baby and toddlers’ foster home in Balashi, and Ban Duna Un Man Pa Cria Nos Muchanan, a grass root organization of hospital workers providing free breakfast daily, to hundreds of underprivileged school-children on the island.
The gathering was emotive and heartwarming as each foundation made a short presentation, thanking the benefactors and explaining the organization’s mission and needs. Resort guests in attendance truly appreciated the impromptu speeches, and the General Manager’s address, as he thanked his guests who over the past year demonstrated great generosity.

It should also be notes that the Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa associates make monthly donations to Ban Duna Un Man Pa Cria Nos Muchanan and that the other foundations are often on the receiving end for donations following the resort’s annual charity golf tournament and seasonal fundraising drives.
