Larimar Spa, Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa, bid its Director of Spa Services Bruce Cavan farewell. Having been on the island for over three years, Bruce is moving on to pursue his career in spa management in the US. While on the island, he worked tirelessly to promote Larimar Spa in the local and tourist markets and explore new treatments, to keep patrons coming for more.
The Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa initially invested $5.2 million, in the 13,000-sq.ft., stand-alone oceanfront Larimar Spa. The one of a kind facility with beautifully designed treatment rooms, sauna & steam cabins, Vichy showers, relaxation gardens, plunge pools, dedicated areas for manicure, pedicure and hair care, and a truly state of the art gym and fitness center, deserved a top professional, and Bruce Cavan fit that description perfectly. Subsequently, he was contracted to operate the facility and make it famous, a mission he successfully achieved.
Pictured here Bruce’s farewell gathering at the resort 9th floor penthouse suite, attended by all managers and departments heads who also signed the souvenir picture frame designed to escort Bruce to his new destination.
While at the helm of Larimar Spa Bruce trained his second in command, Albert De La Cruz to take over the spa management.
