The popular food spot, located at the Playa Linda Beach Resort, created a special menu for the event, featuring Pretzels, a Bavarian Roast Beef Sandwich, Oktober Burger with smoked ham, sautéed onions and gouda cheese, and an Oktoberfest Platter that offered up an abundance of Bratwursts and Smoked Sausages, served with sauerkraut and home-made potato salad. The dessert, a delicious Apfel Strudel, was made at the eatery’s own bakery and served up warm with vanilla ice cream.
Making an even bigger splash was the debut of the Dushi Bagels and Burger & Burgers Beer Towers; sky-high towers filled with ice-cold beer, kept cold by an inner ice tube, supplying visitors with up to two liters of beer that they could serve themselves, right at their table. The Beer Towers are sure to be a hit at many Happy Hours in the future. The Dushi Bagels terrace, overlooking the hustle and bustle of the Palm Beach street side was hopping with live DJ mixing, also surprising party-goers with some fun traditional Oktoberfest music interspersed with contemporary Latin dance.
The first Oktoberfest was a great hit, and owners Fernando and Carina have already promised that there will be many more to come.
