Palm Beach — An intimate crowd of family members and friends celebrated Audrey Smit’s birthday over delicious sushi and grilled meats, accompanied by hand-crafted cocktails and wine.
Audrey and her husband Tim recently took over two famous Palm Beach landmark restaurants, Amazonia Churrascaria and Sushi Salsa, and are planning considerable upgrades and changes to prepare the eateries for a busy summer at the end of a successful winter season.
Tim who packs years of food & beverage experience in Europe opening a great number of successful eateries and staging mega-concerts reports his wife’s birthday is just one of the many events in store for Amazonia and Sushi Salsa in the near future.
The biggest change he says will be in orientation, as the restaurant’s main entrance will now be facing the Palm Beach tree-lined boulevard, and the right hand side of the garden adjacent to Aqua Grill Restaurant will be transformed into an outdoor dining and lounge area.
Sushi Salsa is also expected to move within the restaurant and expand. In response to popular demand the Sushi bar will almost double in size and by vacating its current spot, will allow the bar to evolve into an after-dinner, linger-longer, comfortable sitting area, offering an array of bar-bites.
