Aruba Bank Celebrated the Grand Opening of its Hato Branch

ORANJESTAD, Aruba – December 1st, 2013: Aruba Bank celebrated the official opening of its newest branch, in Hato, Friday evening, among a large number of invited guests. The Aruba Bank Hato Branch enjoys a thoroughly modern design and replaces 2 other branches, the ones located in Paradera and Noord, merging the two into just one centrally located facility, with ample parking places.

Aruba Bank prepared a great program for all of its special invitees who came together to celebrate the grand opening, in the evening hours Friday night. Aruba Bank’s Managing Director Marcelline Richardson gave a very eloquent speech, in which she explained the vision of the bank and its sincere commitment to continued investment, in order to offer more and improved services to the local island community. The Minister of Tourism, Transportation and Culture, Otmar Oduber, was present as well, giving the bank an encouraging speech, applauding its tremendous initiative and the considerable investment. Minister Arthur Dowers,  was also present for this important occasion, together with various other members of Parliament.

Immediately after the speeches, the Managing Directors of Aruba Bank, Marcelline Richardson, Sharon Frankel and Arie Stam, together with local artist Ciro Abath, unveiled a new spectacular sculpture, located at the entrance of the bank, commissioned in honor of the occasion.

The official act of opening was entrusted to the Interim Governor of Aruba, Her Excellency Mrs. Ella Tromp-Yarzagaray, and Minister Otmar Oduber, together with the bank owners, Mr. & Mrs. Guis. Guests were able to enjoy a guided tour inside the new Aruba Bank branch, immediately after the inaugural act, in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, with entertainment provided by a violinist-saxophonist duo. Outside the celebration continued with entertainment by the Sherry Dyane, Jazz Band, who created an elegant ambiance, thereby delighting the VIP guests during the remaining evening hours.

Guests were also privy to a tremendous light show which illuminated the new building magnificently, made possible by High Performance.

Aruba Bank would like to thank all those who came to celebrate the grand opening of its new branch in Hato which has been open to the public and fully operational since Monday, December 2nd.
