San Nicolas get ready, RBC Royal Bank will inaugurate its international Arts Education Program – Art Rules Aruba on July 15th with a special Pancake Brunch!
Produced by the Pancake Gallery Foundation, Art Rules Aruba edition 4 has already proven to be its biggest year to date. The more than 200 participants and aspiring Aruban Artist between the ages of 13 and 26 being exposed to contemporary artistic instruction while training with the best Artists from around the world will undoubtedly carry the lessons of Art Rules Aruba with them for life.
Presented at Abraham de Veer College, Art Rules Aruba will for the first time take place in San Nicolas, turning the city into a true international and cultural hub for the last two weeks in July with artists coming from New York, London, Amsterdam and even Japan to educate our youth!
Producers at the Pancake Gallery are super excited to make Art Rules Aruba a reality stating “Educating our youth on the Island with the help of some of the most successful artist from around the globe and a few local stars, in San Nicolas, is just amazing. Excited not just for the community of Aruba but particularly for the city of San Nicolas where an Arts project for the youth of this magnitude has not yet taken place”.
The Pancake Gallery, as a foundation has created a strong support network for Aruba’s teens by providing them not only a platform to express themselves in an artistic way but to also creatively tackle socials issues that currently challenge the island’s youth. Keeping kids off the street and productive during the summer holidays by exposing them to culture and art education is Art Rules Aruba’s mission.
The program runs for two weeks from July 15th till July 26th with a special Art Rules Pariba: Arts Festival Finale, open to the public on July 27th from 3 to 7pm at Abraham de Veer College.
