Amazonia celebrates the day of love

Amazonia Churrascaria pulled out all the stops to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year. The famed Brazilian style steakhouse, located in the heart of Palm Beach, created the perfect romantic atmosphere to welcome visitors on the day of love.

Seen here enjoying Valentine’s Day are Sonny & Dean Huntley, Rick & Janet Murray, David & Nancy Bachelder and Sonny & Becky Ross from Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. These four couples are old friends and consider themselves locals as they have been coming to Aruba for the past 21 years, staying for 3 weeks at a time.

Also seen celebrating the day of love are local couple Audy & Natasha and newlyweds Debbie and Scott Abbot from Delaware. The couple tied the knot last Friday on the beach and were celebrating through Valentine’s Day, accompanied by their friends Tom & Heather.

These visitors and many more enjoyed Amazonia’s Valentine’s Day Dinner, sampling from the gourmet 40-item seasonal salad bar, followed by a parade of 16 different cuts of beef, chicken, pork and lamb, grilled to perfection and carved tableside by the restaurant’s roaming gauchos. They also sampled from the recently introduced Pasta Formaggio, tossed by hand and flamed table-side.

Amazonia Churrascaria is open from Monday to Saturday, from 6 pm to 11 pm, and on Sundays from 4 pm to 11 pm. For reservations and information, please call 586 4444 or email Amazonia@setarnet.aw.
