Adam Lazaro, from the USA and Claudia Rodriguez, from Colombia, staying at the Tamarijn Beach Resort, got married on Eagle Beach surrounded by family members and friends from the USA, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Colombia and Spain. The love-birds planned a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres over steel band music at Tierra del Sol Resort, Spa & Country Club, followed by plated dinner on the terrace with live DJ mixing and dancing.
Adam used to tell Claudia about Aruba until he finally brought her here and she fell in love with the island too.
At the reception, Carpaccio of Seared Tuna Loin, Tapas Rolls with Chorizo, Crab Cake Rolls and Chicken Bell Pepper Kebab were butler-passed by the excellent Ventanas del Mar waiters. Then a lovely buffet dinner followed serving Seafood Ceviche, Potato Salad, Mixed Greens with assorted dressings, as starters and for entrees Fried Red Snapper with Creole Sauce, Tender Chicken Legs with Coconut Curry Sauce, and Grilled Fillet Mignon with lightly spiced Dijon Mustard Sauce, accompanied by interesting sides. The dessert selection included Tiramisu, Caramel Flan and Cheese Cake, reports restaurant manager Martin Haselhoef.
