This past Friday afternoon, the managers and supervisors of The Westin Aruba Resort gathered at the resort for a celebration to acknowledge the top leaders of the property during the second quarter.Â Everyone enjoyedÂ cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while nominated supervisors and managers were each applauded for exemplifying Westin Hotels & ResortsÂ® philosophy to “redefine efficient service with an effortless style and gracious attitude that ensures a truly unforgettable experience,” and leading their employees and respective departments to do the same.
The following were nominated as Supervisor of the Quarter:Â Margarita Soto from the Housekeeping department, Anousca Roos from the Bon Bini Cafe, Errol Corpus from Pago Pago restaurant, Julianita Croes from the Food & Beverage department, Elvie Mabalay from the in-room dining department and Ingrid Lake also from the Food & Beverage department. Â The winner, Margarita Soto, was announced during a wine seminar given that afternoon by the Wine Barrel specialists, combining the festivities with a wine-knowledge refresher course.
The following were nominated as Manager of the Quarter: Vanessa Rasmusen from the Executive Office, Diego Garcia from the Sales department, Marshall Silvania from the Engineering department, Pauline Provence and Hendrick Schaap from Accounting department and Marielle Smeets from the Fun Department
The winner, Marshall Silvania, was also announced during a wine seminar given that afternoon by the Wine Barrel specialists, combining the festivities with a wine-knowledge refresher course.
