Palm Beach –The Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino has been conducting an internal contest during the month of June, aptly titled Catch Me at My Best, and intends to continue the program to the end of August. The program is designed to recognize Hilton Hotels & Resorts Team Members for living and breathing the brand’s pillars and the HILTON Values, encapsulated in the HILTON acronym, namely delivering Hospitality, acting with Integrity, providing Leadership, supporting Teamwork, and taking Ownership, with a sense of urgency and purpose, Now.
The program allows team members to “catch” other team members or managers or vice versa at their best, doing something special or going the extra mile. Resort guests may also participate in the program and ‘catch’ team members or members of management when they are attentive to details or making a significant contribution.
The first winner of Catch Me at My Best was announced on June 20th, at an informal gathering at the Mira Solo Bar. Our pictures depict the overjoyed winner Yeda Andrade, from the Kitchen department, as she receives her recognition, at Laguna Restaurant. Yeda was ‘caught’ while making most perfect breakfast omelets, and maintaining an ever-pleasant and friendly, helpful and energetic disposition.
Other top 10 team members receiving most ‘catches,’ were praised for their outstanding efforts and dedication. They were: Grace Brion, Marlene Tenorio, Elton Trezil, Germaine Wever, Ranzinho Tromp, Norma Lacle, Lissette Encarnacion, Asher Courtar, Romeo Reid, and Angelique Croes.
The ongoing program encourages team members to strive for excellence, as it provides equal win opportunities to staffers and members of management.
