Scores were good and spirits high after the 3rd leg of the Heritage Cup on Saturday at Tierra del Sol Golf Course. Sponsor Ling & Son’s Super Center provided the prizes and Golf Professional James Kiley handed winner Axl Ismail his, an extravagant gift basket filled with goodies. Second Place winner Herbie Burchfield, and close third Frank Gregoor received gift cards to shop at Aruba’s # 1 Super Center. Gifts were also awarded to closest to pin winners Carla Schipper on hole # 3 and #13, Naud Hunick on hole #7 and Jose Rodriguez on hole #15.
The next event of the Heritage Cup, the 4th, on September 1st, might help answer the question regarding the identity of the tournament winner, which is still unknown at the end of the 3rd event of a five leg series.
Over the last few months all golfers have worked on getting their ranking points as high as possible, with the three best out of the first four rounds counting towards the final.
For the final round, participants will have to give it all, racing to claim the 3rd annual Tierra del Sol Heritage Cup by Ling & Sons Super Center.
The championship golf course meanwhile is gearing up to the Aruba International Pro Am unfolding here the weekend of August 24th, with golfers from across the globe competing for handsome prizes in a three day event filled with golf and parties.
