The Caribbean Palm Village Resort is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, recognizing owners who purchased timeshare units pre-construction, trusting that upon their return the following year they will find a lovely tropical resort pool, where they just saw a large hole in the ground.
Mr. and Mrs. Alton Flemming, Mr. and Mrs. Dino Zaino and Mrs. Mary-Jane Parlow, were presented with a handsome commemorative plaques during this week’s manager’s cocktail party while Jane and Grover Soohoo were presented theirs later in the week.
Interim General Manager Astrid Muller and Board Treasurer Randy Croes, joined a picture opportunity with the honorees who recall a construction site, with goats roaming the neighborhood. Nevertheless they all agree they had a good feeling about the place, when presented with the option to buy their unit, and did not hesitate when making the decision to own, a time-share in Aruba.
The Flemmings, from Maryland, have been married for 52 years, are currently on the island with six members of their family, staying for at least 3 weeks. Mrs Alton loves the relaxing atmosphere and the people, while her husband appreciates everything, though the hospitable people of Aruba are the #1 reason why the family keeps coming back, he shares.
Mary Jane Parlow, has been vacationing here for the last 40 years, and feels at home, while Diana Zaino, from Connecticut, comes every year with 3 of her friends, loving the island feeling.
