Appreciation Luncheon in Honor of Service-Oriented Second Quarter La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club Award Winning Associates

La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club hosted an appreciation luncheon in the Conference Room honoring individuals nominated for Associates of the Month for the second quarter, April, May & June also for the Supervisor of the Second Quarter award.

With the introduction of each nominee, the Department Heads shared briefly reasons for the nomination, allowing words such as commitment, engagement, professionalism, excellence, teamwork, initiative, passion and dedication to described nominees and their commendable performances, delivered daily during the operation hours of the resort and beyond.

Simultaneously recognized for their loyalty and multiple years of service, were associates celebrating their 10th, and 20th anniversary with the company.

Director of Food & Beverage Pierre Kock did a terrific job as Master of Ceremonies creating the necessary suspense and building excitement up, among lunch attendees.

Compliments were also sent to the Food & Beverage department for the superb meal expertly prepared for the occasion. All nominees, winners and anniversary celebrants, enjoyed the event, cherishing the attention and the applause.

Nominated for April, with winner Margarita Tatis from Housekeeping, Derrick Croes, from Engineering.

Nominated for May with winner Miguel Rasmijn, from Engineering, Carlos de la Cruz from Housekeeping.

Nominated for June, with winner Keith Melgar from Food & Beverage, Numa Viana and Ann Rhoden from Housekeeping and Edgar Garcia from Engineering.

Nominated for Supervisor of the Second Quarter 2012, with winner Rita Maduro, Accounting, Adriana Tromp, Housekeeping and Hector Hernandez, Recreation.

Among those celebrating 20 years at the resort were Errel Tromp, Engineering, and Sheila James, Food & Beverage. Among those celebrating 10 years at the resort were Damien Croes, executive office.
