The Second Event of the Heritage Cup Unfolds at Tierra del Sol

Scores were high and stamina low after the second leg of the Heritage Cup on Saturday at Tierra del Sol Golf Course.  Only few golfers survived the round playing under their handicap, and moving up the Leader board in the overall standings.  Sponsor Ling & Son’s Super Center along with Head Golf Professional Adam Williamson & his assistant James Kiley handed winner Maurice Janssen his prize, an extravagant gift basket filled with goodies.  Second Place winner William Salazar, and close third Hunt Riley received gift cards to shop at Aruba’s # 1 Super Center.  Gifts were also awarded to closest to pin winners Floyd Nedd, Dante Leandi, Jan Roeloffsvalk, Hunt Riley & Harold Hagens.

After Janssen’s performance, he has edged into the lead in the point standings with many still nipping on his heels; can he hold on to his lead and capture the Cup for 2012? The next event of the Heritage Cup, on August 4th might help answer this question.
