At the end of the first day of golf, participants in the popular tournament were treated to a slice of Aruba’s culture with a colorful and exciting Carnival show. The show unfolded at Tierra del Sol, in the garden, under a canopy of stars, and presented the fully costumed Coco Rico Dancers and a brass band, drums and horns, playing the traditional local asambeo music.

As international group of golfers and their family members were dining under the stars, when the Carnival surprise burst onto the scene with infectious music and irresistible rhythm, also providing great photo opportunities for the visitors, at the end of the show.

The evening was orchestrated by the culinary team of Ventanas del Mar with terrific food and matching décor nicely concluding the first day of perfect golf.

Prizes for the longest drive and closest to the pin, for the first day of the tournament were generously donated by Diamonds International and by Boolchand’s Digital World.
