More than 120 guests enjoyed the Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa hospitality at a spectacular dinner party hosted on the beach in honor of CATA delegates, travel experts and tourism professionals on the island in attendance of the Convencion Anual de Turismo de Aruba, the Annual Aruban Tourism Conference, which kicked off last Monday.

CATA, dedicated to the Latin American travel market, and co-hosted by the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) in partnership with the Aruba Hotel and Tourism Authority (AHATA), enjoyed the lovely evening, orchestrated to perfection by the Radisson Banquet & Event team.

The beach was decorated with lounge divans and colorful pillows, set on white carpets amid candles and fire urns, copper balls and an oversize ikebana aquarium centerpiece.

Elegant food, served family style, introduced novel and exciting dishes, conceived and prepared by executive chef Gerard Coste and his culinary brigade.

On the menu, the resort’s signature cactus soup, seafood appetizers including lobster wrapped in proscuitto, southwest pinwheels and asparagus vinaigrette. Main courses, heated on bricks in the center of the table included Shrimp in Ginger, Korubuto Pork giant lollipops and market vegetables. The dessert, introduced Alejandro, the pastry chef’s best selection of sweet sensations, to the music of the Cherries, under the starry night sky.

Pictured here the local conference organizers, the executives of ATA & AHATA, joined by their guests, on the beach, with General Manager Rob Smith and his crew, as party hosts.
