Mr. Jazz at Paseo Herencia welcomed Dushi Band and the Dushi Carnival Group for the great reveal of the band’s costumes, almost two weeks ahead of the official Carnival launch day, November 11.
Band leader Hildward Croes and his musicians invited fans to come together for the festive costume reveal, and for the elections of Mrs. Carnival, the royalty at the head of DCG. Beauties from the Heart of the Amazonia, the theme of this year’s parade, will display the rare treasures of the Amazonia rainforest: animals, trees and flowers. Revelers, dancing in the streets to the sounds of the band, dressed just like the Yanumamies, the indigenous Amazonia people, are going to have a lot of fun, Croes promises.
Dushi Carnival Group will participate in 5 parades: The Torch Parade, the Lighting Parade, the Lighting Parade in San Nicolas, the Grand Parade in San Nicolas and Aruba’s Grand 56th Carnival Parade in Oranjestad which will take place on the 14th of February 2010.
The party at Mr Jazz introduced DCG’s Carnival package and all the different options open to fans.
