On Friday, workers celebrated a milestone in the construction of the office building for Pension Fund Tourism Sector Aruba, namely Spantenbier, the topping of the roof celebration as construction reaches the building’s highest point.
With the Aruban flag flying high over the site, board members and members of management joined in for an informal gathering, with tasty snacks and a couple of cold beers.
The office building for Pension Fund Tourism Sector Aruba will feature a total of 1,250 m2 floor space –13,455 sq.ft.– divided over 2 floors connected by an elevator. The design of the building was entrusted to SHS Design, and the General Contractor is Evertech N.V. Other local companies contributing to the project are electrical contractor, Quick Electrical Services N.V., Air-conditioning contractor Cool Breeze N.V., with telephone and data installation by Setar N.V., and General Supervision of the project at the hand of Echinus Architects & Consultants.
The building says PFTSA managing Director Sanaa Baround is planned to be finished by November 15th 2009, and is still looking for tenants wanting to share the state-of-the-art facility with the pension fund.
