The gorgeous new Colombian Emeralds International store was officially opened this weekend at the historical world heritage Rif Fort, in Curacao. Managing Directors Serge and Dalila Mansur took great pleasure in inviting a large number of glitterati from Aruba & Curacao to the Grand Opening over elegant cocktail and hors d’oeuvres.

“Colombian Emeralds International is pleased to join with Serge & Dalila Mansur for the opening of this store which is a wonderful opportunity for the prestigious brand,” commented CEI’s President and CEO Stephen Crane, as he addressed a crowd of invitees gathered at the plaza in front of the sparkly store windows, just moments before the ribbon cutting ceremony affected by guest of honor Emily de Jong-Elhage, Prime Minister of the Netherlands Antilles, and family Matriarch Ola Mansur.

Rif Fort, built in 1828, was recently developed in conjunction with the new Renaissance Curacao Resort & Casino, introducing an upscale array of shops and boutiques to the legendary historical attraction.

“When the President & CEO of CEI approached us for a partnership,” reports Serge Mansur, “we agreed to come on board and help further enhance the luxury retail shopping experience at the reborn Rif Fort landmark.”

As the store opened its doors in late April, it immediately attracted island visitors and locals. “People associate Colombian Emeralds International with celebration,” says Dalila Mansur, “and thus they don’t just come to us to make a purchase, they come to CEI for a memorable experience and make an important connection with the store, creating meaningful life-memories.”
