A spectacular lunch party was hosted by the Renaissance Convention Center at the Renaissance Festival Plaza in honor of the Carilec 2009 conference, bringing engineers and suppliers together on the island of Aruba.

While the Engineering Conference event kicked off on Sunday evening with an official ceremony, the supply chain seminar and expo took place on Monday and Tuesday, with an under-the-white-tent interactive lunch midday, Tuesday, serving freshly caught grouper with basil sauce and sliced tenderloin with chimichuri, chased by a local dessert buffet.
