Members of the Engineering Department and the Green & Health Team banded together to plant a Tamarijn, an indigenous tree to the island, just before the “Arubiano y su Tera” lunch-bag lecture.

Arubans have a special relationship with the place they call home and La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club has been celebrating Earth Week by paying homage to the land, the flora, fauna and the environment in its totality.

The lunch-bag lecture regarding Arubans and their land provided many tips as to how to prepare the soil and what to plant in order to grow a lovely vegetable garden.

Pictures here, the Tamarijn gets a nice garden section to call its home, and the associates getting a bit of an agricultural education.
