The first official Datapanik concert will unfold at Mr Jazz by Chucho Valdes on April 29, at Paseo Herencia on Palm Beach.
The fusion band mixing a Caribbean sound with an electronic groove is already a big name on the island having just completed a 4-week tour of the island’s Rum Shops as sponsored by Heineken Beer.
The band is throwing a sensational evening at Mr Jazz by Chucho Valdes on April 29 in collaborations with DJ Intifada, a Latin Caribbean master mixer and Tipico Jara, a local combo. Artists Alida Wever, dance, Ryan Lampe, video & films, Osaira Muyale, plastic arts and others, will contribute their talents to the evening which will be recorded live, supported by the Entertainment Group, Digicel Aruba, Cool FM radio and Suave TV. Tickets are available at Mr Jazz by Chucho Valdes, and you may also reserve a VIP table, at a special exclusive section of the club.
Band leader Michael Lampe, reports that Mr Jazz by Chucho Valdes will lend the concert an intimate format, and complement the artistic aspirations of all involved producing the desired experimental and novel sound as well as an interesting music album. Other band members Alan Tromp, Etmar Rincones, Reme Lacle & Eric Huntington are equally enthusiastic about the upcoming production.
