Gospel Affirmations &  Crioyo are two fresh music compilations by Nico Connor on steel pans, proving again that when steel talks everybody listens. The sound is in possession of a charming universal appeal and an endearing everlasting quality which transcends electronics, shifting tastes, and trendy genres.

Crioyo, captures the sound of the island with a selection of traditional Aruban songs,  including original gems by the father of Aruban culture Padu del Caribe, and other music greats such as Rudy Plaate and Etty Toppenberg, Boy Dap, Rufo Wever and Hubert Booi.

The Gospel Affirmations CD is a smooth and mellow form of gratitude for blessings and includes spiritual classics such as Ave Maria, Amazing Grace and Wind Beneath my Wings.

The CDs are available at CDs & More at Cumana, store owner Guisette Croes would be happy to help gift-wrap it to go; at Pan Man Gifts & Souvenirs at Paseo Herencia, owned by talented musician Lee Connor, and at the Music Box at Royal Plaza.

If needed Nico will deliver if you call his cell number # 742-7400.

While in Aruba last year we heard a song but do not know the title. Maybe you can tell us the name?
The words were “Po po po po po po po po po po in Love”
We would like to buy the song or the album

    Thank you
