A Task Team of resort professionals from the Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa, went to St Martin to picturesque Anse Marcel on the French side to help open an excitingly new, exquisitely French and exotically Caribbean resort of 189 guest-rooms and 63 suites, under the leadership of veteran hotelier, General Manager Jeffrey A. Lesker, who over the past decade also managed the Wyndham in Aruba and the Radisson Aruba Resort.

Jeff called on his former colleagues to come and apply their best practices in St Martin and was rewarded by their excellent assistance.

Eighteen managers and supervisors from the Radisson’s Aruban flagship property performed their labor with love, says Jeff, and brought passion and pre-opening expertise to San Martin. For over three weeks in December they infused Aruba’s spirit of hospitality into the new resort which was ready to receive its first guests on December 16th for a preview weekend.

They all report working hard, and enjoying the experience as the 18-acre beauty revealed itself offering gourmet food, lush gardens, upscale rooms and public areas, as well as a guest enrichment program.
