Director of Finance Bob Curtis proved that perseverance pays, as he continued to play at Divi Links hoping that one day his ball would fly directly from the tee into the cup, in just one shot, AGAIN. Not bad for an amateur player, making TWO holes-in-one in friendly games with buddies Hotelier Scott Derrickson and Watersports Operator Emmit Kimble, who served as witnesses, each time.

“The big story,” says Bob, “is that it is my second one in a little more than a year. Both at Divi Links. I don’t know if anyone else has ever had two holes in one there.”

The trio of golfers is seen here at Mulligan’s Golf Café Bar & Restaurant, celebrating with a round of drinks, pondering the reality that the chance of an average golfer making a hole in one is approximately 12,500 to 1. What is the chance of a golfer landing two holes in one, in under a year, go figure that out!

One Response to “Hole in One for Bob Curtis”

  1. Carl Reuter Says:

This is awful news! Bob is my brother-in-law’s cousin and we see him and his family every year during “week 10.” This means I’ll have to be really nice to him and treat him and Sandra to something special like dinner at Mdm. Janette’s this coming March.

Really, CONGRATULATIONS, LoBob. That’s a terrific feat. It was fun to read about.
