A spokesperson on behalf of management at Brisas del Mar in Savaneta 222A, announced this week that the 33 year old restaurant is closed. The seaside facility suffered substantial damages during the recent Omar Tropical Storm and while the dedicated staff members cleaned up and reopened the following day, it soon became very clear that some of the damages are more than cosmetic and an additional investment will be required to make Brisas Del Mar operational again.

“We sadly closed the restaurant, to allow us some time to consider our options,” the spokesperson declared, “we are working hard on solutions, meanwhile we would like our purveyors and suppliers to know that they will be paid, and rest assured, that we will honor all our obligations, within the next few days, wrapping all accounts up honorably, before we start the rebuilding process.”

Has the restaurant reopened? If not, do you expect that it will be opened again and about when?

    Thank you.
