What could be a more fitting farewell for President Meredith Lauria, than one final cruise on the turquoise waters of Aruba’s Caribbean? Having it at sunset. Organized by Ann Derrickson and Meredith (working hard to the very end), the International Friends of Aruba boarded Red Sail’s Rumba for their annual sunset sail with desserts provided by the Hyatt Regency Hotel and homemade sangria whipped up by Membership Vice President, Melissa Cavan.

The waters were friendly and the sunset was dreamy as couples snuggled and watched the sun sink and the stars come out. The only downside of the evening: final “goodbyes” and “thank yous” to Meredith and Mike Lauria. Mike’s new position at the Hyatt Hotel in Westin sent the Laurias packing off to Florida in a flurry. IFA wishes them well and extends appreciation to Meredith for her amazing job as President.
