Fire eating OmarThe Occidental Grand Aruba invites you to visit CirCaribe one of the resort’s several weekly showroom performances delivered in the Grand Ballroom.

The show which just opened this weekend is more than one hour long and features a surrealistic celebration of music and dance, performed by acrobats and comics.

The show is a Fun Club production, conceived by talented director Omar Chavez, and choreographed by the ever-creative, Prima Ballerina Violeta Petrova

Audiences will enjoy revisiting the circus of their youth as performers walk on broken glass, with fire jugglers, stilt walkers and clowns attempting to follow and participate, demanding that members of the audience do the same.

There are angels dropping from the ceiling which creates a mysterious, magical spectacle energizing the room and setting the tone for audience complete enjoyment.

The show opened in a filled-to-the-brim showroom and resort General Manager Jesus Cardoso thanked his crew for putting together the best evening of entertainment on the island, showering them with confetti at the end of the show accompanied with fireworks.

Also present and impressed by the results of the mega-production, Casino Manager Wilfred Trimon.

The evening is guaranteed to entertain and wow you! Remembers that the interactive element of the evening might even get you up onstage . . . Whether you choose to participate or simply observe, CirCaribe is a special treat you do not want to miss!

Tickets are available at the Occidental Grand Casino, every day from 12 noon; show starts at 9 p.m., on Tuesdays, with a different show every night.

We visited the Occidental Grand Aruba in April of 2008, 2nd, visit to Aruba…but the nightly shows, the pool party, and the BEACH PARTY was EXCELLENT!!!! we had so much fun at this resort we WILL BE BACK!!! and a SPECIAL thanks to Omar Chavez, he was so great with all the shows, and I personally spoke with him, what a nice person, all the people in the show was so entertaining and we went to every show!…I sure hope they do not do away with these dancers and the shows, we will be back in 2010 at Occidental Grand Aruba…everyone at this hotel was just going out of the their way, as busy as they were…Not a single bad thing to say about this place…well, only 1 thing the elevators kept breaking down…that was the only problem…KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK THERE!
