The owner of Cuba’s Cookin’ restaurant, Canadian-born magazine publisher Douglass Markus celebrated his birthday – we did not ask – at, where else? - Cuba’s Cookin’.

Having cleared mega dance floor space, the former DJ and Cuban music specialist orchestrated a fantastic dance-party with a custom-designed big band starring famed vocalists Jessy, Paola & Anna and gifted musicians Ramon, Edgar & Lucho.

The party scene was fueled by the restaurant’s incredible Mojitos. On behalf of all lucky invitees, can we do this again next year?
